Achievements

In order to meet the food needs of the growing population, the Department of Agricultural Extension has been able to produce bumper crops of horticultural crops ie vegetables, fruits and flowers in the past year through the transfer of advanced technology among the farmers. Dewanhat Horticulture Center under the Horticulture Wing has been carrying out significant activities in the expansion of horticultural crops. In this program, quality seedlings/cuttings, seed production and distribution program has been strengthened among the farmers. 

Production of 39311 fruits, 3994 flower seedlings/cuttings, 6800 ornamental seedlings/cuttings, 3300 medicinal seedlings/cuttings, 2522 spice seedlings/cuttings, 110700 vegetable seedlings and 00 mushroom spawn packets through Atra Horticulture Center in last three years. has been From which Rs 620744 revenue has been generated in the last three years.
